Jim Suber has been named the new WPEC Executive Director effective July 1, 2021. Mr. Suber was the superintendent in Newberry County School District where he spent 41 years of his career in education.
Western Piedmont Education Consortium is an association ofschool districts in upper western South Carolina who workcollaboratively to accomplish specific goals. The Consortium serves 14 school districts and affiliate members- Lander University, Piedmont Technical College and the SC Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe.
