Curriculum Resourses
A team of teachers from WPEC districts developed curriculum guides for Modern and Classical Languages. They worked diligently last summer to get the guides ready for the 07/08 school year. Recently they met again to make any revisions to the guides deemed necessary. The guides are available to any district in South Carolina to download free of charge.
With the success of the Modern and Classical Curriculum Guides; a decision was made to develop science guides for grades 6,7, and 8. Consortium teachers worked tirelessly to develop the guides and have them ready for distribution in August. Mission accomplished! The guides were completed this summer and have been distributed to each science teacher in grades 6, 7, and 8 in the Consortium. The State Department of Education has shown interest in using the WPEC model for other curriculum development.
